A Prestatyn funeral home is inviting the local community to join them for a day of coffee, cake and activities – all in aid of a good cause.
The event, taking place on Saturday 20th September from 11am-3pm, will support Macmillan Cancer Support, with all proceeds going directly to the charity to help fund the incredible work they do in the community.
Visitors will be able to see a horse-drawn carriage, offering a first-hand look at the services the branch can provide, as well as a limousine filled with balloons for a “guess how many” competition, with the chance to win prizes. The event will also include stalls offering face painting, a tombola, bric-a-brac, and more. For those wanting something sweet, tea, coffee, cakes, and biscuits will be available.
The team from Co-op Funeralcare Prestatyn – Funeral Director Jessica Myatt-Jones and Funeral Arranger Carly Inglis – will be on hand throughout the day to welcome visitors.
Jessica said: “We’re excited to open our branch to the community and host an enjoyable day for all ages. It’s a great chance to meet our team, enjoy some treats, and take part in activities, all while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support – a cause close to many people’s hearts. We can’t wait to see everyone there!”
