Forfar Funday - Guide Dogs

Forfar Funday – Celebrating 60 Years of Guide Dogs in Forfar

This special community event marks six decades of Guide Dogs' presence and impact in Forfar. Visitors are invited to come along and enjoy a day filled with activities, entertainment, and opportunities to learn more about the vital work Guide Dogs do.

The event will feature a variety of stalls, offering local products and information, as well as entertainment suitable for all ages. Families can enjoy interactive activities and demonstrations, including sessions led by professional Guide Dog Trainers and a showcase from the Puppy Class, where young guide dogs in training will demonstrate their early skills.

Attendees will have the chance to meet members of the Guide Dogs team, learn about the charity’s life-changing work, and discover how guide dogs are trained to support people with sight loss. It’s a celebration of community, service, and the incredible work Guide Dogs we do.

Whether you're a long-time supporter or simply curious to find out more, the Forfar Funday promises to be an enjoyable and informative day for everyone.
