Messy Museum Morning: Batty Bats!

Batty Bats! Most bats are about to hibernate now for the winter, but today we are making a bat emerging from a cave. Using a card cone, straw and other craft materials you’ll make a pop-up puppet bat coming out of a bat cave!
An adult must remain with the child throughout the session. Please dress for mess, although aprons will be available. You are welcome to bring your own reusable apron.
Suitable for 7-11 year olds but younger and older children are welcome.
No need to book, just drop in. Last entry to the activity is at 12.45pm.

Also enjoy finding some fun facts about bats with the *free* Batty Bats trail and find out about Halloween or autumn with the *free* Halloween and autumn themed museum detective trails – available from the activity trolley in room 1.
