If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!
The Burnham-On-Sea Rock Choir is led by vocal coach Michael Aris. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Michael. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Stadium for the record breaking Saracens versus Harlequins rugby league game in 2012, on top of the BT tower and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.
Rock Choir is the no audition, no need to read music choir and it was the first of its kind in the country. You can book yourself (and a friend if your feeling a bit nervous!) a FREE singing taster session before joining the choir. Just go to rockchoir.com and you'll find out all you need to know. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
