Since its formation in the late 1980s by three star graduates of the Paris Conservatoire, Trio Wanderer has secured a place among the finest chamber ensembles of our time. ‘Trio Wanderer make it all sound effortless’, observed BBC Music Magazine of the group’s recording of Ravel’s intimate Piano Trio, while Gramophone was equally enthusiastic about its take on Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in D minor, praising its ‘absolutely pristine playing’.
