Christmas Willow Angels Workshop
Get into the festive spirit for Christmas and weave a Willow Angel with artist and willow worker Liz from Northumberland Basketry Group.
Spend a lovely day being creative and ‘hands on’ in this workshop using willow, while learning at least 4 different willow weaving methods – twisting and weaving to create your unique Christmas Angel.
Willow weaving expert Liz will take you step-by-step through the process of shaping natural willow into your beautiful Christmas angel With added twinkling lights it will give that extra sparkle to your Christmas festivities.
After Christmas, your Angel will be a wonderful addition in your home all year round and will last for many years to come.
Limited places – booking essential. If you would like to add twinkling lights you can purchase these from Liz during the session. Please add in the booking notes if you would like to buy lights from Liz at the workshop (£5).
There will be a break for lunch – you’re very welcome to pop to our café or go for a nice walk in the park and along the river.
Please note – tickets for our workshops, sessions and courses are non refundable. We may at our discretion transfer your ticket to another similar event.
