Chess Valley Male Voice Choir are singing some songs from musicals and we have some fantastic soloists - including some from the choir plus some fantastic guests who will be playing music by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin and Reshetilov - - all wonderful music!
Soloists:
Bohdan Reshetilov, piano
Born in 1992 in Ukraine Bohdan graduated from the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music specialising in piano, composition, and musicology. He has worked theatre, film, and IT productions and collaborated with professional symphonic orchestras and ensembles both as a composer and performer, including the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and worked for 8 years at the Kyiv National Academic Operetta Theater. His compositions include theatrical, chamber music, soundtracks for films and over 250 arrangements for symphony orchestra.
Natalie Fletcher (violin)and Zev Sebastien (piano).
Natalie and Zev study at the Purcell School and are both on Government Music and Dance Scheme scholarships.They have played in chamber music ensembles together, and have formed a duo partnership, and are exploring the wide variety of music written for violin and piano. As a full time student at Purcell School since 2022 Natalie has continued to perform both orchestral and solo repertoire and in 2024 she gained a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Zev recently made his international concerto debut playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no 1 with the Purcell Sinfonia Orchestra and the Sinfonieorchester Opus 125 in Mönchengladbach.
