Heidi Talbot's brand new single Mist from her latest album Grace Untold was featured on the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show on Wednesday 24th September 2025. Sadly, they didn't mention that she was appearing at Grayshott Folk Club on her upcoming tour but she most certainly is!

Heidi Talbot was born in Ireland, became a Folk star in the USA and cut her teeth as lead singer of the all-female Irish/American band Cherish the Ladies. She now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. With a background like that, it's hardly surprising she should develop a style that switches easily between Celtic and Americana............but subtlety is Heidi Talbot’s magic ingredient.
Her gossamer voice has lent itself to the delicate re-working of traditional and contemporary material and has earned her rave reviews for her records and live performances. The girl from Kill in Co. Kildare, who spent several years in New York, slips effortlessly between the twin worlds of Irish Traditional and Roots music but retains a personal modesty rooted in traditional Folk.
Over the past twenty-five years, Heidi has performed all over North and South America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand
Heidi has shared the stage and recorded with music luminaries such as: Mark Knopfler, Graham Coxon (Blur), Eddie Reader, Idlewild, King Creosote, Kris Drever, Tim O'Brien and Jerry Douglas.
Her visit to Grayshott Folk Club is her first and will be the southerly-most point on her extensive UK tour, to promote her 9th album Grace Untold.
