Clarks Village has announced that its ice rink is set to return as part of the Somerset-based outlet’s Christmas celebrations, with tickets on sale now.
Set to create an enchanting environment for guests to enjoy throughout the fun-filled festive season, the 550-metre undercover ice rink will open to the public on Tuesday 11th November for over seven weeks.
Featuring real ice, and designed and installed by Icescape, the custom-built ice rink will be located on the lawn of the Alfred Gillet Trust’s Shoemakers Museum, with a dedicated entrance from the outlet’s Restaurant Terrace.
The wheelchair-friendly ice rink will return with more events and offers than ever before with fun themed events taking place throughout the season, as well as regular Friday Disco Nights, 2-for-1 skating, plus special Quiet sessions and Parent & Toddler sessions with pushchairs. The ice rink is also available for private hire.
Offering guests the perfect activity come rain, snow or shine, the rink will be open throughout the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day until Sunday 4th January, with pre-bookable 45-minute sessions and skate hire included.
Skaters and spectators will be able to warm up after their session in one of Clarks Village’s eateries, as well as finding the very best Christmas gifts at more than 90 premium and high street brands offering up to 60% off RRP.
Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: “We’re thrilled to be bringing the ice rink back to Clarks Village its fourth year. It’s become a much-loved part of our Christmas offering, whether guests are here to enjoy the skating itself or make it part of a full festive day out with shopping and dining.
