Filippo Dall'Asta Quartet

Experience the vibrant spirit of gypsy jazz with an international flair as virtuoso guitarist Filippo Dall’Asta returns to Linton Village Hall, this time with his brand-new band.
Leading a brand-new quartet formed in Barcelona, Filippo is joined by powerhouse vocalist Francesca Confortini, and two stars of the Spanish jazz scene: Neter Calafati on guitar and Oscar Tinoco on double bass.
Blending the infectious swing of Django Reinhardt with bebop, classical and world music influences, the quartet delivers a thrilling performance of jazz standards and original compositions…rich with storytelling, fiery improvisation, and irresistible rhythm.
This is gypsy jazz with a global heartbeat. Intimate, theatrical, and joyfully alive.
