Born into a revered lineage of Gambian Griots: historians, storytellers and peacekeepers, Suntou is both a guardian of the tradition and a bold innovator of its future. Rooted in the ancient rhythms and spiritual depth of his heritage, Suntou's music is a bridge between worlds.
Following three years of constant touring and creative exploration since the release of his debut album, Suntou returns with the highly anticipated second album to be released in late Autumn. Audiences can expect original compositions and reimagined traditional pieces, reflecting his evolved and elevated sound, grounded in ancestral wisdom yet alive with contemporary expression.
