Christmas Fair
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Join us to begin the festive season with our annual Christmas Fair.
The House will be host to over 70 stalls selling locally made gifts, food, drink, decorations and craft; the perfect time for a spot of Christmas shopping. Warm up with hot mulled wine from our outdoor bar and find lunch and seasonal treats in our café or from the outdoor caterers.
This year, the House will be dressed with decorations representing different eras, from Tudor times to the present day, highlighting the House’s 400-year history. For our younger visitors there will be themed craft in our Activity Room and a reindeer trail (trail sheets available at Reception for a suggested donation of £2). All to be enjoyed with the pleasure of vintage music from Gramofun at the bottom of the main oak staircase.
No need to book, pay on the day.
Please note: Buggies are not permitted inside the House for this event. There will be a designated gazebo outside Reception to leave buggies. Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds, only assistance dogs permitted inside the house.
