FREE taster session with the Chester le Street Rock Choir
If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
The Chester le Street Rock Choir is led by local vocal tutor Rob Slater. People who have already joined the choir, who hail from Chester le Street and further afield in Durham come from all walks of life and most had no singing experience or ever thought their singing journey would ever take them on TV or radio (not compulsory :-) ). Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from 'not sure' to 'performance ready'. The songs are uniquely arranged in a way that helped Rock Choir originally establish the simple high/middle and optional low voice approach to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places.
We attend weekly rehearsals where you learn pop, rock, Motown songs in 3 part harmony. Like the sound of that?
