Better Joy live at Coventry Central Library

Better Joy is set to play a special all ages evening gig at Coventry Central Library following the release of her debut EP ‘Heading Into Blue’.

The 6 track EP produced by Mike Hedges (The Cure, U2, Manic Street Preachers) was released in March this year to a resounding wave of positive reception from the music industry.

“Lucid in its storytelling and brilliant, full sounds, ‘Heading Into Blue’ balances light and shade, capturing self discovery in all it's complexities.”

For those that haven’t had the pleasure yet Better Joy is solo project of Manchester based Bria Keely backed by a noteworthy band. Her alt-pop sound blends classical and contemporary influences whilst gritty guitars and honeyed vocals characterise songs that are both vivid and vulnerable.

“Currently being positioned by radio tastemakers as UK indie’s next breakthrough act.” NME

With that kind of tip off from NME we reckon you’d be wise to get your tix in with us now while you can!
