A care home in Thame is set to commemorate Remembrance Day with a heartfelt event for residents and the community.
On Tuesday 11th November from 2.30pm, Care UK’s Cuttlebrook Hall, on Stock Road, is inviting people to join residents and members of the Royal British Legion for a special afternoon tea.
The president of the armed forces charity’s Thame branch will deliver a service before visitors enjoy traditional finger sandwiches and sweet treats as part of the home’s Remembrance Day plans.
Alana Corr, Home Manager at Cuttlebrook Hall, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting members of Thame’s Royal British Legion. Remembrance Day is a poignant time for all of us and seeing residents get together to honour the lives of those who gave so much will be truly heartwarming.
“We know how special these experiences are for residents and we’re looking forward to marking such an important day alongside our community and Royal British Legion members.”
Cuttlebrook Hall is a state-of-the-art care home that provides full-time residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. The building incorporates plenty of space for leisure activities and hobbies and includes its own cinema, hair and beauty salon and pub.
