Festival Of Wonder

Free Community Days with circus performances, music, dance and some special guests. On Saturday, there are two free showings of 'The Briar & the Bramble', a brand-new circus show, at 12 noon and 3 pm. Plus Free Cafe, Under 5s Play, Photo Exhibition, Craft Tables, 'Wall of Wonder' and 'The Secret Garden'.

The Festival of Wonder offers a wondrous array of spectacles, activities and spaces designed to engage, enrich and inspire wonder. The majority of events are free to attend, but there are two free events where tickets are recommended due to limited numbers, and the fundraising Gala, where a range of ticket prices is available to suit all budgets.

This year we will explore our understanding of wonder in powerful new ways and, in particular, consider how we might find beauty and hope in unusual places, in particular, in aspects of the natural world we often take for granted. Can we gaze on unexpected wonders through which we experience a ‘more beautiful world that our hearts know is possible’.

So, whether you enjoy the wonder of the natural world, the wonder of words, imagination, creativity, song or dance we hope you will find something to again brighten, lighten and inspire.
