The Leigh on Sea Rock Choir is led by local vocal coach Hollie Heard. The choir is for all ages and all the local Essex branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible gigs like the 9,500 seat Liverpool Arena and Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local Essex music and food festivals.
You've probably heard us singing in and around Essex, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Leigh on Sea Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
