John Cleese Packs It In, behind-the-scenes film of his European tour

1 85-year-old Man, 5 Countries, 16 Cities, 23 shows, 6 weeks. Will he make it home … or is this the end of the road?
Legendary British comedian John Cleese, invites audiences to take a behind-the-scenes look at life on the road on what may be his last European tour, as he battles various ailments, encounters chaotic travel and grapples with his own stubborn refusal to slow down or stop. Over the course of 6 weeks, the film captures Cleese reflecting on his amazing career, which began with Cambridge Footlights back in 1963, as well as life, fame, and growing older in the public eye. Unique and intimate in its access to Cleese, 'John Cleese Packs It In' explores legacy, laughter and bowing out, however reluctantly..
Most famous for co-founding Monty Python, co-creating Fawlty Towers, and writing and starring in the Oscar-nominated “A Fish Called Wanda”, Cleese's contributions to film as well as comedy have earned him accolades - two BAFTA Awards, an Emmy, and nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. This film explores not just his professional triumphs but the personal toll of a life spent in the spotlight.
“For the first time, audiences will see a different side to me – not just the dashing, devil-may-care, devastatingly handsome bon viveur, but also the decrepit, addled, nasty old geriatric that my PR team work day and night to hide from the public....” John Cleese in his own words.!
