Join Friends of Leigh Church for an evening of choral music courtesy of London-based group Last Wednesday.
The first half of the programme includes William Byrd’s mass for three voices (c. 1592) plus pieces by Palestrina (c. 1525-1594), Thomas Tallis (c. 1505 – 1585) and others; the second half will turn towards the festive season with Christmas motets and carols.
Tickets include seasonal snacks, and a cash bar will be open before and after the concert as well as during the interval.
This concert is raising money for the restoration and preservation of our beautiful Grade I-listed village church.
