Divine Funk is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated IMMERSIVE DISCO event, taking place on Saturday 20th December 2025 at Room 24 in Southend, Essex – the perfect opportunity for a festive celebration or get-together. Music lovers, disco devotees and anyone ready to dance the night away are invited to step into a dazzling celebration of disco through the decades.
Hosted by Glitterball Productions, the event promises an unforgettable evening where guests can experience the evolution of disco from its origins in the New York club scene of 1975 through to its influence on modern artists. Attendees are encouraged to embrace dopamine dressing, with sequins, bold colours, feathers and glitter all part of the immersive experience, designed to lift spirits and transport guests straight to disco heaven.
The night will feature a carefully curated soundtrack including hits from legends such as Chic, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Brand New Heavies, Michael Jackson, George Benson, and contemporary artists, including Dua Lipa, Lizzo and Jessie Ware. Promising a fully immersive production, the event will include interactive performances and surprises designed to bring the dancefloor to life. Attendees can choose their level of participation, from rummaging in the glamorous dressing up box, walking the catwalk, or being covered in bubbles, to simply soaking up the sights, sounds and atmosphere of this one-of-a-kind disco celebration complete with fireworks.
