Your local Newton Mearns choir is run by vocal coach Lauren McGarrigle. The Newton Mearns branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Newton Mearns community causes and events, our nearby Rock Choir groups come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the 10,000 seat Wembley Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, nationwide flaskmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Newton Mearns Rock Choir.
