Concert by the New Cambridge Singers, 15th Nov,
The New Cambridge Singers, one of the City's foremost amateur chamber choirs conducted by James Potter, will open their 2025-26 season with a concert entitled 'Visions of Paradise', to take place on Saturday 15th November 2025 at 7.30pm in the church of St John the Evangelist, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 8RN. In this concert the choir conjures up the sounds of Heaven itself, music of profound consolation and depth; works by composers ranging from the masters of the Renaissance such as Victoria, Schutz and Lobo through 19th century romantics Gustav Mahler and William Harris to acclaimed contemporaries James MacMillan and Eleanor Daley.
