Lansdown Hall Gallery will host Examined Expressions, an exhibition celebrating the work of professional Art Psychotherapists who are also practicing artists. The show invites visitors to experience the breadth of creativity that emerges when artmaking and therapeutic practice come together. As the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) describes, Art Therapy is about using art materials to explore feelings that may be hard to put into words. It helps people express themselves, connect with others and build resilience. Examined Expressions celebrates that same power in the creative practices of Art Psychotherapists themselves.
