The World of Gilbert and Sullivan
There will be a great treat in store for G&S fans in West Norfolk on Saturday 21 February 2026 when 'The Wandering Minstrels' (www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) pay their third visit to St. Mary's Church, Heacham for THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN. They will sing, act and dance their way through many of the Savoy Operas including 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'Iolanthe', 'The Gondoliers', 'Ruddigore', 'The Mikado', 'Princess Ida', 'HMS Pinafore' and 'Patience'. Artistes appearing in this Gala concert are Helen Winter, Rosie Braddy, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. It is a lighthearted evening of excerpts from the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas, presented in period costume and performed in traditional style.
