If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!
Your friendly local Portadown choir is run by vocal teacher Beth McNally. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Beth. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Guilfest and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.
Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Beth tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with them about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 20 years experience giving members of the public who are new to singing in a choir the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
