If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
The local Bournemouth choir is run by singer/pianist Chris Mutch-Jones. The Bournemouth branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Bournemouth community causes and events, our nearby Rock Choir groups come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Liverpool Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, radio appearances and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Bournemouth Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
