A care home in Banbury is inviting the local community to attend its festive open day, complete with a Christmas market.
Care UK’s Highmarket House, on North Bar Place, will be opening its doors to the public on Saturday 6th December from 1pm–4.30pm, when visitors can join the seasonal celebrations and tour the home’s facilities.
The open day aims to give the Banbury community a closer look at the care home environment and the enhancements made to ensure comfort, safety and a welcoming atmosphere.
On arrival, guests will be met by team members in the home’s main reception area, where they can enjoy a welcome coffee and chat to the Highmarket House team before touring the home
ahead of the Christmas market opening.
Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the care services offered and see first-hand the improvements to communal spaces and private rooms.
Visitors will then be able to enjoy plenty of rocking around the Christmas tree as the market, featuring a variety of local stallholders, begins at 2.30pm. Live entertainment, mulled wine and seasonal treats will ensure everyone gets into the festive spirit.
Francesca Cowley, Home Manager at Highmarket House, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the Banbury community to our upcoming open day and Christmas market. It’s set to be a great afternoon for guests to enjoy festive treats, browse unique gifts from local stallholders and soak up the seasonal atmosphere.
“We're also excited to show everyone the welcoming and friendly environment we’ve created at the home. On behalf of the team and residents here, I’d like to invite the people of Banbury along to what promises to be a fun event for all!”
