Teesside Park unwraps festive celebrations
Christmas magic will return to Teesside Park in just a few weeks as the centre unveils its seasonal activity line-up, featuring its popular Christmas Markets, as well as an exciting schedule of character appearances inspired by some of the nation’s favourite festive films.
The Christmas Markets will be located outside Primark and the surrounding area from Friday 21st November until Sunday 4th January, bringing a wonderland of stalls offering festive flavours and winter warmer food and drinks.
From Dutch pancakes, crepes, and waffles to Yorkshire pudding wraps and festive cookies, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s festive tastebuds.
And that’s not all – this December, visitors can step into the plot of their favourite Christmas films with visits from characters inspired by movies such as Elf, Frozen, and The Grinch.
The characters will appear at intervals between 11am and 3pm, giving families plenty of chances to embrace the festive fun and snap a seasonal shot with the much-loved characters. The line-up includes:
The Elf – Saturday 6th December (25-minute intervals at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm)
The Huggable Snowman – Saturday 13th December (45-minute intervals at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm)
Cindy and The Mean Green One – Saturday 20th December (25-minute intervals at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm)
The cherry on top of the perfect festive day out, visitors can watch The Elf and The Huggable Snowman spread Christmas cheer while The Mean Green One causes chaos, with Cindy there to keep him in check.
