A Christmas Fantasy - Christmas Carols & Concert
Get into the festive spirit with the Wooburn Singers' special Christmas Concert, A Christmas Fantasy, on Saturday 20th December at St Mary and All Saints Church, Beaconsfield. The programme is packed with traditional favourites and audience carols, as well as some standout choral pieces which capture the magic and fantasy of the festive period, all accompanied by Organ and Piano.
Join us for a magical evening featuring two magnificent cornerstones of English festive music: Ralph Vaughan Williams’ beloved Fantasia on Christmas Carols and Gerald Finzi’s serene masterpiece, In Terra Pax. We will also include Will Todd's contemporary gem, My Lord Has Come.
Wooburn Singers with their Musical Director Jonathon Cole-Swinard, will be joined by Organist: Richard Carr, Pianist: Simon Howat and Baritone: James Geidt.
The evening will conclude with a selection of well-loved Christmas music for choir and audience, ensuring everyone leaves feeling utterly festive and in the mood for Christmas!
Not forgetting the drinks and mince pies.
