Are you looking to find a choir?
The Southport Rock Choir is led by Merseyside based musician Luke Freeney. The Southport branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Southport community causes and events, all the local Merseyside choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Royal Albert Hall, achieving album sales that enter the charts, television appearances and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
We meet to socialise and practise once a week and you can come along to any rehearsal that is convenient to you for your FREE taste of what singing with your local choir is like. You can book for you and your friends at https://www.rockchoir.com/join. What are you waiting for? It's a FREE singing session near you!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I have been a member of Rock Choir for 3 years and I can honestly say that joining was the best thing I ever did. I look forward to my weekly rehearsals and leave the hall on a high! Long live Rock Choir!!! ' - Gilly (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
