A care home in Fareham is ready to get into the festive spirit as it hosts its very own Christmas fair.
On Saturday 6th December from 1.30pm–4pm, Care UK’s Parker Meadows on Redlands Lane will be opening its doors to kickstart the season with a special event ‘yule’ not want to miss.
Guests will be able to browse stalls from local businesses selling a range of goods including jewellery, wreaths, ornaments made from sea glass and much more.
An entertainer will perform live festive music while visitors tuck into a variety of seasonal refreshments, including everyone’s favourites, mulled wine and mince pies.
There will also be a raffle run with all the proceeds going to Cash for Kids, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and young people within the UK.
Lukasz Mikolaj Irzabek, General Manager at Parker Meadows, said: “We’re already getting our Christmas jumpers on and counting down until the big day, which is why we’re excited to be kicking off the festivities with our very own Christmas fair.
“We strive to play an active role in our community, and we’re delighted to be opening the doors to our neighbours to enjoy the season. It is so important to celebrate together during these holidays, while also raising money for charity and helping those who may not be as lucky as us.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for a Christmassy day full of festive fun – I can hear the jingle bells already!”
