St Stephen’s is set to sprinkle some festive cheer across Hull this December, with a line-up of community events designed to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
From live music to Christmas gift wrap services, each event is guaranteed to spread some seasonal joy while raising money for important local causes.
On Saturday 6th and 20th December, visitors can enjoy live performances of classic Christmas tunes from the Salvation Army Band, who will be playing between 11am and 1pm while collecting funds for their vital work within the community.
Adding even more festive sparkle, Doreen’s, a local group supporting people across Hull with essential items and community projects, will also be at the centre on Saturday 6th December, offering a Christmas gift-wrapping service that lets visitors get their presents wrapped while supporting a fantastic local cause.
Jim Harris, centre manager at St Stephen’s, said: “Christmas is a time for giving back and showing appreciation for those around us and what better way to do this than with some heartwarming festive events with local charities including Doreen’s and Salvation Army who support so many people in our community.
“We can’t wait to welcome visitors for a big festive day out filled with music, markets and plenty of feel-good Christmas fun.”
For those looking to make a day of it, St Stephen’s much-loved Christmas Market will also be running until Friday 2nd January, serving up seasonal favourites including German sausages, waffles, hot chocolate and mulled wine.
