Beginners Woodland and Garden Bird ID Guided Walk at RSPB Arne

If you love being out in nature and want to learn how to identify the birds in your garden, local woodland or park, this guided walk is perfect for you! It’s a wonderful way to start the new year, whether you’re looking for a new hobby or simply want to build your birdwatching skills.

Our friendly guides will help you look, listen and identify those little brown birds (and more!) that have always piqued your curiosity. No prior experience is needed - just bring your enthusiasm for learning. Over a fun and informative two-hour walk through the beautiful landscapes of RSPB Arne, you’ll pick up practical tips on using binoculars, spotting key features, and improving your identification skills. By the end of the walk, we hope you’ll feel confident spotting birds wherever you go.

You’re welcome to bring your own binoculars or hire a pair from our shop. Off-road mobility trampers are also available to hire - please email arne@rspb.org.uk
