Folk by candlelight with two stunning instrumental duos
Local concert promoter, Folk Inspiration, celebrates the end of its third year of bringing the best in folk music to Guildford with an acoustic, candle-lit concert on Thursday 11 December for two stunning duos - Dave Malkin & Louis Campbell, both supremely talented guitarists, and Moya Sweeney & Archie Churchill-Moss, outstanding players of the diatonic accordion.
Archie, Moya, Dave and Louis are all outstanding musicians in their own right, with collaboration credits between them that include Martin Simpson, Sam Sweeney, Seth Lakeman and John Dipper. Expect lots of fresh, captivating interpretations of gorgeous traditional and not-so-traditional tunes in the candlelit nave of Guildford’s oldest church. This will be a double headline performance from four of the UK and Ireland's finest interpreters of instrumental folk music.
