Cordelia's Potted Operas - Concert
Cordelia's Potted Operas brings a concert of opera and operetta including highlights from the Scottish opera Jeanie Deans to St Mary’s Kirk, Haddington at 7pm on Sunday, 11th January, 2026.
Singers will be travelling from Melbourne, Australia for the Concert and will join with singers from the UK. We are delighted to return for another tour after our highly successful tours in January, 2017 and 2018.
On our last visit we were joined by over 20 singers from the UK and once again we reunite with some of those singers plus some additional recruits.
It was through social media that we made contact with the singers from Scotland and we believe have made life long friends. We are thrilled to be joining them again for another two weekends of singing.
We invite any Gilbert and Sullivan enthusiasts to join us for the G&S section of the concert - there will be a sing through at 2pm on Sunday 11th January - the day of the concert, at St Mary’s.
Everyone made us feel so welcome that I had no trouble convincing our singers to embark on the long trip to Scotland - some from the last concert and some first timers.
Tickets are available at the door from 6.15pm at St Mary’s Kirk, Haddington.
We look forward to performing what will be an awesome night of entertainment.
