If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Rock Choir.
The Shrewsbury Rock Choir is led by singer/pianist Rowan Richards. The choir is for all ages and all the local Shropshire branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible events like Flash Mobs and Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local Shropshire music and food festivals.
We sing in Shrewsbury every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not visit our performances page at rockchoir.com to see when we're next performing locally in Shrewsbury or Shropshire. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Shrewsbury community together through something as simple as learning to sing.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Singing gives a terrific high and is certainly an aid to fighting depression. I look forward to each week with excitement. I just want to spread the word, join Rock Choir if there is one near you. ' - Seana (Rock Choir Member)
