If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!
The Abergavenny Rock Choir is led by local singing teacher Karl Montgomery-Williams. We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local Abergavenny and wider Monmouthshire area. We are part of the pioneering Rock Choir singing groups. We often team up with the other local Monmouthshire choirs to sing in groups of any size, 100, 500 and even and even 12,000 at the O2 arena in Summer 2013. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It's unbelievable and you can still join the choir.
You've probably heard us singing in and around Monmouthshire, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Abergavenny Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives.
