FREE taster session with the Yate Rock Choir
Do you want to find a local choir to join near you?
Your local Yate choir is run by singer/pianist Alex Hawker. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Alex. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Arena, on top of the BT tower and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.
You've probably heard us singing in and around Bristol, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Yate Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
