The Yate Rock Choir is led by singer/pianist Alex Hawker. Our choir is made up of many locals who never thought they could sing or hadn't found the right outlet for their secret singing in the car or shower. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the local Bristol branches of Rock Choir too!
You've probably heard us singing in and around Bristol, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Yate Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
