Are you looking to join a choir?
The Richmond Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Rebecca Thompson. The choir is for all ages and all the local branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local music and food festivals.
You've probably heard us singing in and around , or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Richmond Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has given me a new dimension in life - I joined after my dad died as I knew I needed something new to focus on. I come down to choir on the train from home and in the winter waiting around at a freezing station is not very appealing when its lovely and warm at home, but I never want to miss a session no matter how tired, cold or grumpy I feel. When my husband picks me up he always says the same thing - I am always bubbly and happy and looking forward to the next week.' - Liz (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
