Chamber Concert: Northern Chords Ensemble
The next concert of West Wight Arts Association's 2025/26 season will be held on Saturday January 10th in Freshwater Memorial Hall, starting at 7.00pm.
It will be given by the Northern Chords Ensemble, whose last sellout visit to Freshwater was acclaimed as a ‘wonderful evening of music making’. Founded in 2009, this compelling piano trio brings together some of the most exciting young musicians from across Europe.
The programme includes a rare opportunity to hear a beautiful romantic Piano Trio by the 19th century composer Emilie Mayer, ‘the Female Beethoven’, as well as Schubert’s Rondo in B minor, D895 and the Piano Trio No. 1 in B major by Brahms, Op. 8.
