FREE taster session with the Giffnock Rock Choir

Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?

The Giffnock Rock Choir is led by local singing teacher Lauren McGarrigle. We support a number of local charities, raising money and awareness around Glasgow and as a choir we also join up with other branches of Rock Choir to support national charities such as Missing People and both Comic and Sport Relief with flash mobs, fundraising events and gigs.

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Lauren tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 21 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community choirs the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Being part of the choir has given me a wonderful opportunity to belong to a fantastic venture into the world of contemporary music and given me a new lease of life. Singing in the choir is a much better 'pick-me-up' than any anti-depressant tablet prescribed by a doctor. I come away after the weekly choir session with the best feeling ever and the companionship with fellow members is something money can't buy.' - Janet (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
