If you have ever thought 'I want to join a choir near me in Ponteland?' then why not join your local Rock Choir.
Your friendly local Ponteland choir is run by Newcastle upon Tyne based musician Rob Slater. The choir is for all ages and all the local Newcastle upon Tyne branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible events like the 20,000 seat O2 Arena and Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local Newcastle upon Tyne music and food festivals.
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Ponteland Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Ponteland choir members recommend their friends!

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
