The Ponteland Rock Choir is led by Newcastle upon Tyne based musician and teacher Rob Slater. Our choir is made up of people who never thought they would join a choir or would even sing for fun and that's the beauty of joining our choir. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the local Newcastle upon Tyne branches of Rock Choir too!
We attend weekly rehearsals where you learn pop, rock, Motown and every now and again a 'pop gospel' song.
