If you are wanting to learn to sing you'll find a warm welcome with us in the Troon Rock Choir.
The local Troon choir is run by singing teacher Lauren McGarrigle. The choir is for all ages and all the local Ayrshire branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible gigs like the 9,500 seat Liverpool Arena and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local Ayrshire music and food festivals.
We sing in Troon every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not check out our choir events page at rockchoir.com? There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Troon community together through something as simple as group singing.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
