The Tewkesbury Rock Choir is led by Gloucestershire based musician Jacob Ashworth. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Arena and on top of the BT tower to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved charities such as Refuge, British Airways Flying Start and the Edinburgh and London Moonwalks. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!
You've probably heard us singing in and around Gloucestershire, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Tewkesbury Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
