If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!
The local Bridgwater choir is run by singer/pianist Michael Aris. The choir is for all ages and all the local Somerset branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (the choir members have 3 world records!) and community events too like the local Somerset music and food festivals.
Lift your spirits and rejuvenate your body and soul with a weekly hour and a half of exceptional singing tuition at your local Rock Choir. There's no need to audition or read music, or even to perform if you're not ready, there's just a comfortable, friendly, family environment full of new friends to be made. If you are looking for a more convenient choir near Bridgwater or a choir on another night of the week simply visit the choir locations page at rockchoir.com.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Being part of the choir has given me a wonderful opportunity to belong to a fantastic venture into the world of contemporary music and given me a new lease of life. Singing in the choir is a much better 'pick-me-up' than any anti-depressant tablet prescribed by a doctor. I come away after the weekly choir session with the best feeling ever and the companionship with fellow members is something money can't buy.' - Janet (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
