If you are wanting to find a local choir to join you'll like singing with us in the Rock Choir.
The Selby Rock Choir is led by North Yorkshire based musician Kate Peters. A local community choir first and foremost, we are also part of the national Rock Choir network, which provides some unequalled performances for choir members. Members of Rock Choir have had the chance to meet and sing in front of many celebrities and public figures, including Will Smith, Paul O'Grady and Downton Abbey writer Julian Fellows at the UK's top venues including the O2!
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at the O2 arena (which we've done!), there's a place for you in the Selby Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
