Do you want to find a choir near you?
The Wimbledon Rock Choir is led by local vocal coach Rebecca Thompson. The choir is for all ages and all the local London branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local London music and food festivals.
We sing in Wimbledon every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not visit our performances page at rockchoir.com to see when we're next performing locally in Wimbledon or London. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Wimbledon community together through something as simple as singing.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I have been a member of Rock Choir for 3 years and I can honestly say that joining was the best thing I ever did. I look forward to my weekly rehearsals and leave the hall on a high! Long live Rock Choir!!! ' - Gilly (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
