SUPPLIANTS OF SYRIA reinvigorates a 2,500-year-old Greek Tragedy with recorded testimonies from modern Syrian refugees. In a multimedia performance, this play ensures those with experience of asylum seeking are acknowledged and have a voice. This interactive performance includes a participatory debate and a pre-show dinner that invites refugees and young people to engage directly with civic dignitaries, police, health and social workers, journalists and politicians.
