Neville and Belinda are hosting Christmas as usual in their large house. Half a dozen of their friends and family are there, together with a few extremely excited children. Christmas traditions are a source of constant squabbles and the arrival of Clive, a young writer, takes the turmoil to a whole new level. Will the annual puppet show be a hit with the kids as Bernard expects, or a complete flop as Harvey predicts? As tensions mount, will Christmas ever be the same again for Neville and Belinda?
