Talk: 10,000 Finds from West Berkshire

In early 2021, 5000 objects found in West Berkshire had been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database. Under 5 years later, the milestone of 10,000 finds was reached. This talk by Berkshire’s Finds Liaison Officer (FLO) presents new finds from the past 5 years and how they have added to our knowledge of West Berkshire.
Dr. Philip Smither is the FLO for Berkshire. He studied archaeology at the University of Reading and completed his PhD on the Roman site at Richborough, at the University of Kent.
